The first victim appears to have been discovered by a night guard in the temp prison of the Municipal District of the planetopolis, or at least he walked in on the crime and walked away for some reason. His sound sensors detected a human-like scream from within the solitary prison block and upon investigation discovered that inmate #1037 was sleeping within his cell. Apparently discounted the alarm as a simple malfunction in the LAN of the prison--which records show had been giving technical problems for a while preceding the night--the night guard appears to have gone back to his post. Around the change of shift the morning guard discovered the night guard: his chest had been opened up, the heart removed (and the heart was never located), a triangle painted upon his forehead with his own blood, his eyes gauged out, and traced of cryogenic sleepoids in his blood. Records show his walk to inmates #1037's cell, which when following up on the matter investigators found the inmate curled up in his bed with his back to the cell cameras in the same state as the guard with his chest opened up, heart removed and never found, eyes gauged out, a triangle/pyramid painted on his forehead in his own blood, and trace cryogenic sleepoids in his blood.

I can only surmise that the guard walked in on the murder(s), but did not see them (for some reason or other, which is collaborated by other cases witnesses not seeing anything at the scene) and the murder(s) deciding to kill the guard too in order to remove witnesses (as it appears to have been done in other cases too), for added pleasure/on impulse, or both. What ever happened in that cell and to the guard we have no records, as the prison camera's were subjected to a malfunction similar to the ones that had been occurring in the month before that night. It must be noted that this technical problem stopped happened shortly after that night, so I surmise that the murder(s) have hacking skills to some degree. There was also no evidence of forced entry into the prison, the cell, or the guard post and the guards Conduit was swept clean (prisoners are not allowed Conduits due to internal regulation). No prints were lifted, no web signatures on any data-sphere level dropped at the scene, and no weapons or tools that can be determined or traced to the wounds that these men suffered.

From that initial murder, which was information controlled by the Government, a second one occurred exactly one year and one day to the date of the first murders on a sister planet in the same system. I have Moomled the initial and subsequent dates and the only correlation between them is that they all occur on a Friday of the 13th of a local month (see research links #1, #2, #3)

The second victim--Charles "Dealer" McDonald--was a prominent businessman from another solar system and was found by about a day after the event by his secretary--Veronica Jessica Magdallion--who appears have been having an affair with his and was worried when he did not rendezvous with her upon the appointed date after his business trip into the old Colonels Mega System Planets. She located his booking and financial trail through authorized use of World Wide Wealth channels and took a flight to the planet where she found him in his hotel room.

The Genetics & Forensics Department of the day dated his death to be approximately three days four hours and twenty three minutes from the date of discovery by his secretary and he shared the same cause of death and mutilations as the previous two victims. Trace elements of cryogenic sleepoids were also found in his blood, along with a high level of base alcohol.

Unfortunately for the Governments attempts to control information the secretary's first email was to her mother and was intercepted and hacked into by media-pod data-megaway bots. Thus the knowledge of the ritualistic murder leaked into the public domain and the initial denial by the Government of other murders like this seems to only have added to the mystery surrounding the continuing case. It will noted that Government eventually came forth with admittance of the initial victims and other cases and moved into a position of denying that they had ever denied the other cases.

From here there were 11 eleven other recorded murders on sister planets in that solar system each year plus one day to the day that the initial murders. No witnesses that survived the night saw anything that could be ascribed to as evidence and each scene was clean. All information capturing devices at and surrounding the scene reported malfunctions leading up to and on the day of the murder(s), which suddenly and mysterious stopped thereafter. All victims shares the ritualistic open chest, removed heart, gauged out eyes, triangle in their own blood on their forehead, and trace cryogenic sleepoid in their blood.

And then, after the thirteenth set of murders in the thirteenth and thirteen days after the first set of murders when the entire solar-system was in panic, cults were crying of the end of the world, riots were clashing with police and soldiers, and a mass exodus of the system was collapsing its micro-economy...the murders just stopped.

Sixty-nine years later the murders started again in a distant system, Karaxis Mardi, where many Garbage Dump Planets reside: thirteen sets of murders sharing all the same characteristics occurred there before the Government believe they caught the suspect based on transportation logs. Alfred McDonald is the only known person to have been in the old Colonels Mega System Planets during the period of the thirteen murders and in the Karaxis Mardi during the next thirteen murders. More than that, he was related to Charles "Dealer" McDonald as his second brother removed through genetic cloning and appears to have harbored a grudge against him for being more successful in business than him. The investigators seem to believe that Alfred McDonald had begun to enjoy the act of killing and had continued to do so until police pressure forced him to locate his hunting grounds elsewhere.

Based on this flimsy evidence the Government appears to have done a publicity stunt by prosecuting Alfred McDonald, found him guilty, and executed him into the Bio-recycling Plants.

This was obviously the wrong suspect, as--although all their evidence was correct--why would Alfred McDonald kill the night guard and the inmate first if he only got his taste for killing after killing his brother? And why the strange ritualistic style of killing? Alfred McDonald had no hacking skills worthy mentioning, so how did he hack into the secure LAN systems at each crime scene?

With the publicity stunt over the universe went back to everyday life...until sixty-nine years to the day the murders started up again on a distant planet, Devils Rock. Due to the distance from mainstream media-pods and the thin nature of the data-megaway the Government appears to have contained the information from this cycle of thirteen murders.

This could not be done when sixty-nine year after that cycle of murders the murders started up in the Merchant Planets this was too public to be denied and the Government has been forced to accept that it had prosecuted the wrong person and the original murder was still on the loose. I have reviewed whether this could be a copycat killer, but the evidence (or lack of evidence) suggests otherwise.
